I don’t have the best track record when it comes to toners. It’s like a love-hate relationship. I currently don’t have a toning step in my skincare routine. I know it’s not advised but what do you do when a skincare step feels like a step in the wrong direction?
My skin is not the best in the world and I have struggled to create the best yet simple skincare routine for my problematic skin.
Toners have been very drying and not a step of my routine that I look forward to. My cleansing routine has to be very sensitive to my skin. I mean that in the best possible way. I use actives (AHA) & (BHA) to help win the battle of acne.
So my toner has to fall in line. The Body Shop Aloe Vera Calming Toner seems to be that girl. It has been perfectly formulated for sensitive skin.
If I had to describe my perfect toner it would be :
It leaves my skin feeling soft and alcohol-free
those are my top two.
The Claims
Perfect for sensitive skin, this preservative-free formula effectively removes impurities, moisturizes clarifies, and leaves the skin feeling soft, supple, and smooth. Paraben-free. Gluten-free. Silicone-free. Alcohol-free. Fragrance-free. Color-free.
The Price
Hear in South Africa there are stand-alone stores where you could buy it. I got mine from clicks at R 200.
This is an overall good toner and well priced. With my skincare routine being more actives based my cleaners and toner has to be more on the clean beauty side.
Have you tried The Body Shop Aloe Vera Calming Toner?
