The drug store game in terms of concealers has improved drastically over the years .I mean in 2016 you could go into the store and buy a concealer as a woman of color and be fully happy with it.
There are a lot of things to consider when buying a concealer. For me personally take in to consideration what I will be using the concealer for.
The general rule is to choose a concealer a lighter shade then your foundation but that rule only applies if you are going to height with that concealer. When it comes to spot conceal you have to find a shade the is the same as your foundation .It’s safe to pick a foundation and a concealer from the same brand so that the formula mix well with each other.

LA Girl HD Concealer
When it comes to drug store the LA Girl has be one on everyone’s list. It chanced the makeup game for me I have to admit .Having discovered this concealer my makeup started to look more put together. It was my first concealer and will forever be the most recommend make up item. When I first got introduced to this concealer I had no clue what a good conceal was or is .I was simply playing it by ear, but over the years I go back to this concealer over and over again. It’s like that old shoe that you know how comfortable it will be. The formula its creamy mixed with a dewy finish. Its versatile you can use it as a foundation and with other foundations. It truly can’t be compared with another drug store concealer.

Nyx Can’t Stop Won’t Stop
It’s fairly new on the market its only 2 years old. Having a huge range of shades to choose from can be tasking. But in this case I found two shades that I tried the shade morhgrany then cuppachino. I loved this concealer with the Nyx Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation.
The formula is more on the matt side and I never really gotten a height from these two concealers. That is way it worked best to spot conceal rather. The concealer feels so much like the foundation and way I use it for those no makeup days .Of which hasn’t been all time since I struggle with hyperpigmentation a lot.

Maybelline Fit Me
This conceder it’s not the best I have not had the best time with its concealer. I have loved they foundation matt moss my go to foundation at some point but this concealers really came up short. The formula is light weight and I find it such a dream to use as an eyeshadow base. I find it creates a beautiful canvas.
But if you love light weight makeup you might use it as a highlight or even to spot conceal she might be the one for you.
A good concealer can fake a night’s sleep, give you flawless skin, and replace you favorite foundation. Concealers are hands-down the MVP of our makeup bags. I hope you enjoyed my current concealers.
